You’re correct, Joy. It makes a huge difference when criticism against Trump comes from a Black woman. In his demented mind: “How dare you?”

I so much agree with you!! Without Joy-Ann MSNBC have realy lost the punch. Only Rachel Madow is up there with Joy-Ann Reid. Has Joy-Ann started a new podcast just recently?

I can't imagine what MSNBC was thinking, they were not, but their loss is most certainly OUR gain! I'm so thrilled you're doing your own thing and there will be no filter or timer restricting your answers. I always want to hear more of what you've got to say. I think you are one of the MOST important voices of our time. Your voice is too important to be limited by corporate overlords. They are the problem, you are a big part of the solution! Love you dearly and I am always so grateful for all I learn from you! All the blessings in your new endeavors! Supporting you 10,000%!!!

What could be better medicine? Joy and Katie together, uncensored!!! Absolutely loved this (and adore the Muppets - as I nanny for a 20 month old in my 4th career, we [or maybe just me!] rock out to the muppets on the way to the playground every morning! So happy to find that two of my heroes are fellow Muppeteers!

Joy, just so you know, when I found out about the insane firing, I called up MSNBC, their comment line, and said, "What have you done?! You've fired your star? Who does that? Joy Reid is beloved! Have you lost your mind? I am horrified! You just shot yourself in the foot! Can't you re-think what you've just done and change your mind? I am devastated and despondent; maybe you're trying to destroy the network, because no one's gonna watch now." Then, I actually called back and said, "Wait a minute....you fired Katie Phang too?! People love Katie Phang! And Alex Wagner lost her show? What are you doing????"

You know, it takes me back to the days of the Iraq invasion when NBC fired Phil Donahue. And he was beloved also! But they didn't care! They were afraid he'd have truth-tellers on saying, "What the heck are we doing? You can't just invade other countries because you feel like it!"

Wonder if when Morning Joe went to Maralago, if Trump didn’t tell him he doesn’t like Joy. It’s definitely tied into Trump directly or indirectly.
