Loving this conversation and so glad you highlighted "13th". Our SURJ chapter highlighted that film in our community and it led to an ongoing commitment to pursuing racial justice in the criminal legal system. So much gratitude to you both!

Absolutely Amazing interview! To get an understanding of the Met Gala as well as hearing some other well thought out points of views and thoughts about what is happening today. It was good to hear Ava speak about her grandmother and what she would have said or thought about the state of affairs happening today. Joy keep those great questions coming.

Speaking of “better than the seven minutes you get on cable,” I *consumed* the ReidOut and was bereft when you “left,” ahem. But compared to what those folks unleashed 🤯 for us to revel in on Substack, TRO was just an amuse bouche before the Met Gala feast, complete with cornbread so fabulous you had to shoo the angels away to get a bite. I spend time every week on facebook and YouTube letting people who miss you know where you are. It’s my public service.
