Mr Moyers was smart and honest. He warned us so many times, but no one listened because he was exposing something that the majority of our elected politicians did not want exposed.

What a prince of a man Moyers was. Thank you so much for this important look back to days when sense still made sense. I'm very nostagic for this kind of straightforward and thoughtful reporting about right vs. wrong. We're so far past this now, we're basically in survival/self-defense mode...I know even he never dreamed things would get this bad.

Really good writing, Joy—authentic and detailed. I am older than you by quite a bit, but we both have in common a household where the news, and thus Bill Moyer, was valued and central to our daily routine.

Thanks, Joy, for posting this homage to a really fine American. That post of Bill Moyers, warning us of the corruption past, present, and future has major meaning now - as always it will.

Bill Moyers one of the best in journalism! We as a society are hard pressed to find this kind of journalism!
