It is apparent Alito thinks the American public is stupid or not paying attention to the words he writes or is simply just happy to show us all that he has no problem being the hypocrite that he is.
“What principle has the Court violated? The principle that Rule 45.3’s 32-day default period should never be shortened even when there is good reason to do so? The principle that we should never take any action that might unjustifiably be criticized as Partisan?”
The twists in his words that whack us all upside the head is an attempt to stun us all so much that we don’t recognize that he accuses Justice KBJ’s dissent of doing exactly what he did. Stay focused, people. The only “good reason” to ignore the rules, in Alito’s mind, is to enforce partisan power in order to steal the votes of Black people. Thou (Alito) doth project too much.
I sure hope this country gets its shit together soon. Between this joke of a court and the Trump family and friends stealing hundreds of billions in our tax dollars it’s absolutely disgusting.
