Gerrymandering and voter nullification are the current operating paradigm of the Trump's regime. They’re silencing minority voters and setting up permanent control. Republicans are cheating because they CAN’T win on the merits: they’re driving prices up, jobs down and hurting everyday people.
They are ahead in the gerrymandering but wait, they STILL have to win the elections. No matter how the districts are set up, will they get the votes? 🤔
If ALL people of voting age and good conscience register and check their votes and vote against the GOP, they can be removed! 🙏
The midterms have to be too big to rig, like 2008, 2012 and 2020, so big that any manipulation is impossible to hide. Republicans want to try to rule America forever. We can't let that happen!
Make it clear: ANY vote for any Republican is a vote for tyranny. Period. All Republicans nationwide—Senators, Representatives, Governors—have surrendered their constitutional duties to serve the people and are serving Trump.
We are at the point of saying: We WILL NOT comply with tyranny. I wear a shirt with that reminder. This one 👇
I read this post from top to bottom… It was easy to read because it made so much sense to me. What I'm wondering is why ALL OF US are not discussing all of these points??
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that understands what the fuck is going on beyond what they're telling us.... I don't understand why everyone doesn't appear to see the urgency of this moment. How far are we gonna let them go? I am just so deeply sorry for all of our shameful, unchristian acts throughout Americas history!
Most white Americans have lived in an all-white world. They have never had a meal in the home of a black family. They have never been to a black church or been to a game or concert at a HBCU. They have never eaten in a restaurant where the majority of the diners were black. They have never been in a setting in which they were in the minority. They may have worked on a job with people who weren't white, but they didn't really know them and never saw them outside the workplace. They know almost nothing about black life. They see black people on TV or playing sports which gives them an illusion that they actually know more about black people than they do. They are profoundly uncomfortable among people who are not like them. Even fearful.
We were naive in thinking school integration, integration of the military and universities, and Sesame Street would fix it. I. know it is a long-term project, an I am running out of time and patience, but I think we need to know. more about people whose backgrounds predisposed them to be racist but are not. And we have to find non voters who are willing to vote Democratic.
While I won't disagree with what you say about whites, my experience is totally different. I have eaten in black owned and with mostly black clientele restaurants, also many black women's kitchens. Most, if not all of my friends are melanated. I never feared a black person. It's all about what you have been taught and in my day (long ago) racists were the reprobates. They weren't tolerated or welcome in any group that I knew. So, when Dr. King came on the nation, I couldn't believe what whites were doing to black people. Dogs, fire hosing, public beatings, separate restrooms and water fountains. Then the Woolworth sit in, which was in my hometown. The atrocities I witnessed were beyond imagination. I want to say that I don't understand why the VRA has been dismantled. After all the bullshit that occured in the 1960's how can this country forget and tear down progress? Has Rump given permission to people to return the the 19th century (those that would choose to)? I'm worn out with having to return to fighting for rights that we all had just a few short years ago. This demolition of society has to cease. I only see one way to do so and I can't say it publicly.
I grew up near where you grew up. When my mother was in a retirement community there, I had lunch with a black woman. She was almost the only black resident. She said that most of the people "had never known anyone like me." But if you had told them that, they would not have believed it. They would have cited the maid who had worked for them and the many black employees who worked there. They would have said they knew all about black people.
This is why we, Black people, should never have been "voting blue no matter who." We gave up our power. We will never get voting power back if we continue to turn a blind eye to the fecklessness of the Democratic party.
Okay, but what do we do next?!!!
Republicans never actually believed in democracy.
… that part!!

WHY ARE WE ALL NOT SCREAMING?

You Go Girl—it is SICKENING!
The end game is to enslave us.

The democratic party? Uh......no.
