On tonight’s Freestyle Friday we are joined by author and investigative journalist, Vicki Ward to discuss Demolition Don’s destruction of the east wing to build a Qatar-esque golden ballroom, including the reinforcement of an underground bunker. Her book “The Idaho Four: An American Tragedy” is available on our shop! Next we are joined by John Boyd Jr., President of the National Black Farmers Association to discuss the damage Trump’s draconian tariffs and side deals with Argentina are doing to American farmers. Following that, Virginia Representative Jennifer McClellan comes on to discuss the evisceration of SNAP benefits and programs for seniors under Trump’s shutdown.
In the second hour, TJRS is excited to welcome Oren Lomena of the hip hop group the Food Chain, who you may recognize from a certain intro. He comes on with Chad Brown, former professional football player and Charles Johnson former quarterback for the University of Colorado’s 1991 National Championship team to discuss the White House’s latest distraction attempt from the Epstein Files: attacking Black Athletes. Specifically the Kash Patel FBI going after Black NBA players and coaches for alleged sports gambling.
Finally, our Friday Fun Day panel: Joshua Doss (nationally recognized pollster and data analyst) and Molly Jong-Fast (writer, journalist, and political commentator), join the show to discuss the Democrats’ ongoing refusal to endorse New York Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani as well as a crying ICE officer’s DUI arrest and racist outburst.
